Augusta Health Launches MyAugusta Portal, Keeps Cigna Patients In-Network
Cigna-insured patients in Augusta remain in-network while residents gain online access to appointments and records through the new portal effective June 1, 2026.
How we reported this

Augusta Health finalized a new contract with Cigna on December 31, 2025, that keeps Cigna-insured patients in-network at all facilities without interruption. The agreement directly affects residents who rely on Cigna coverage for care at local facilities.
Financial assistance and employee benefits changes
A financial assistance policy updated October 30, 2024, provides free services to uninsured individuals with household incomes at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and discounted care up to 400% of the FPL. The 2025 Benefits Guide for Augusta Health employees includes reduced deductibles and coinsurance for Tier 1 and HDHP plans, increased Health Savings Account employer contributions of $1,000 for single coverage and $2,000 for family coverage, and expanded hearing aid coverage up to $2,000 every 48 months. These provisions apply to employees and their families who live and work in the Augusta area.
Residents who qualify under the financial assistance policy can seek care at Augusta Health facilities with reduced or no out-of-pocket costs based on income. Employees covered by the benefits guide see changes in deductibles, coinsurance, and account contributions that affect household budgets for health expenses.
Patient portal and visitor policy
Effective June 1, 2026, Augusta Health launched the new MyAugusta patient portal to allow members to manage appointments, pre-register, join virtual visits, refill medications, and view health records online. The portal rollout gives Augusta residents a single online location to handle routine tasks that previously required phone calls or in-person visits.
Augusta Health updated its visitor masking policy on April 5, 2023, making masks optional for patients and visitors with specific exceptions. Current COVID-19 community levels in Augusta County are listed as low. These updates mean residents visiting facilities follow the current masking rules when they arrive for appointments or to see patients.
Next steps include continued operation of the MyAugusta portal and application of the financial assistance and benefits provisions as residents schedule care. Augusta Health has not announced further changes to these programs at this time.
