Augusta Health Launches MyAugusta Health Portal for Local Patients

Augusta Health launched the MyAugusta Health patient portal on June 1, 2026. The portal lets users manage appointments, schedule online, pre-register, join virtual visits, refill medications and view records. Patients served by Augusta Health facilities in Augusta County can now complete these tasks through the new system.

The launch follows earlier policy adjustments at the same provider. A financial assistance policy revised October 30, 2024, offers free services to households at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level and discounted services up to 400 percent for uninsured patients. For 2025, employer Health Savings Account contributions rose to $1,000 for single coverage and $2,000 for family coverage, while coverage for physical, occupational and speech therapy expanded beyond 30 visits with preauthorization.

Changes Affecting Daily Access

Residents who use Augusta Health services can handle scheduling and record review without an in-person visit or phone call. Virtual visit access through the portal reduces travel for follow-up care. Medication refills can be requested directly, which affects patients managing ongoing prescriptions. Pre-registration features shorten time spent at facilities upon arrival.

The financial assistance updates apply to uninsured Augusta County residents who meet income thresholds. Households qualifying at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level may receive services at no cost. Patients between 200 and 400 percent may receive discounted rates. The 2025 HSA contribution amounts apply to eligible employees enrolled in Augusta Health plans.

Additional Policy Context

Masking at Augusta Health facilities became optional for patients, visitors and staff on April 5, 2023, with exceptions for certain populations. As of mid-2024, the CDC listed Augusta County’s community COVID-19 level as low, and Augusta Health reported a steady inpatient census of five to ten patients daily.

These measures remain in place alongside the portal. The financial assistance policy and 2025 benefit adjustments continue to govern eligibility and coverage determinations for qualifying residents. Augusta Health has not announced further changes to the portal rollout timeline.
