Programs and Seasons Available
Aquinas belongs to both the Georgia High School Association and the Georgia Independent Athletic Association, which allows its teams to schedule matches throughout the region. Fall offerings include football, cheerleading, clay target, cross country and volleyball. Winter sports cover men’s and women’s basketball plus swimming. Spring teams compete in baseball, golf, men’s and women’s soccer, tennis, track and sailing. The school has recorded five state titles since 2018 in girls soccer, discus, cross country, shotgun trap shooting and men’s basketball.
Facilities include a weight room, turfed fields equipped with cooling technology and a renovated gymnasium, all located on the Aquinas campus in Augusta. These upgrades support training for every listed sport and also draw non-athletes to events throughout the year.
