Two fixed sites anchor the program. The Imperial Theatre on Greene Street hosts a Sunday jazz set at 7 p.m., while the Broad Street Market on the 700 block runs Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with vendors from the Augusta Farmers Cooperative.
Music and Markets
General admission to the Imperial show costs $22, and the Broad Street Market offers free entry with paid food stalls. Last July the same market recorded 3,850 visitors over one day, city records show. Additional sets take place at the Hill District Amphitheater on Walton Way starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Organizers added extra security checkpoints after similar events drew larger crowds than expected in June.
Family and Practical Details
The Augusta Public Library on 9th Street runs a free story time at 11 a.m. Saturday for children under 10. Parking near Riverwalk Park fills by 5 p.m. on Friday, so the visitors bureau recommends using the lot at 5th and Reynolds streets. Updates appear on the Augusta Events calendar each morning.
Residents who want to attend multiple stops should start at the market, then move to the theatre or amphitheater before dark.
